“Stardom Doesn’t Come As Easy As It Seems…Or As Easy As You Please”
A Film By Julie Dove / 6-8-10 Productions
Julie Dove, an entertainment veteran who knows the business inside and out, unveils her debut full-length release tackling the subject of ‘making it’ in Music Cit. The film will be showcased this month at the Nashville Film Festival
“Welcome To Nash Vegas” was conceived after Dove watched hopeful after hopeful enter publishing houses, management companies, and labels all over ‘the Row’ and noticed countless aspirants had no idea what it truly takes on the path towards a music career --- moving a track up the charts, getting a song cut and selling out arenas. The film shares an in-depth look at the industry --- compelling for both musicians and fans.
In “Welcome To Nash Vegas,” Dove, along with famous friends and industry powerhouses, sets the record straight including the need for growing a thick skin, maintaining the hunger for success, and fostering the love/hate relationship necessary to achieve dreams in the fabled town.
Directed by Julie Dove, the film features candid interviews with:
